The 'Mercatino del Gusto' Association talks about the 2024 edition

The ‘Mercatino del Gusto’ returns again this year with its 25th edition, a longer edition that will start on 1 August and run until 7 August. This year’s theme is ‘The Fundamentals’. It is about starting to respect certain basic rules again, those that are substantial and, arguably, necessary. We need to get back to using the indispensable, indispensable things, made with elementary codes, in many cases primary and therefore essential.

Dining at the villa

From the roots to the stars. The prestigious Palazzo Romano, a jewel in the historic centre of Maglie, will be the setting for this unmissable event.
Francesco Zompì presents five great appointments with the protagonists of Apulian cuisine, between attachment to the roots and intriguing experimentation.
Co-starring with the chefs will be the wineries and their wines.

Gusto Lab

As every year, the unmissable appointments with the “Taste Workshops” return, from 2 to 6 August. The sense of humour of Gino Dimitri together with producers, experts and journalists will lead you on these four evenings to discover the excellence of the territory.
The protagonists will be ‘Cavalieri’ pasta, farmed fish and the catch from our coasts, paired with Apulian wines … but also intriguing intrusions, such as the beers of our old friend Teo Musso.
